What's The Difference Between Buying Limited Edition And Open Edition Prints?

Limited edition prints  As the name suggests, only a limited number of prints will be made available for purchase. Normally the editions available from Anna Curtius Art include 10-50 prints, once they are sold no more prints will be available The exclusive nature of a limited edition print effectively raises its value and, therefore, its price.

 

Open edition prints   Unlike limited edition prints, open edition prints may be endlessly reproduced. Because there's no limit to the number of prints that can be made, an open edition print is priced lower than a limited edition print.

 

How can I see the product before I buy it?

If you have the possibility to come to Stockholm you’re welcome to my studio, otherwise we can arrange an online meet up through Skype where I can tell you more about the artwork and show it to you. Please email hello@annacurtius.com to arrange a date and time.

 

What Payment Methods Do You Accept?

Anna Curtius Art accept the following payment methods:

Will I Be Charged Taxes Or Customs Fees?

Value added Tax (VAT)    VAT fees according to Swedish law are included in the price when applicable.

Customs Charges    The buyer is responsible for paying international customs fees, determined by the country the artwork is being shipped to. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to making a purchase.

 

What Shipping Options Do You Offer?

  • We offer free shipping on all items. 

Once your artwork has shipped, we will send you a shipping notification.

If the artwork is damaged on arrival please contact us immediately but no later than the following day at hello@annacurtius.com.

 

How Will The Artwork Be Packaged?

Artwork bigger than 20x30 will be rolled around a cardboard tube, bubble wrapped and sent in a heavy duty mailing tube.

Artwork up to 20x30 cm will be put in between two cardboards and wrapped in plastic and sent in a cardboard envelope.

 

Do You Offer Pick Up Of The Artworks?

Pick up is available in Stockholm. Use the code PICKUPSTHLM at checkout for this option. You will receive an email to arrange the pick up. This offer is only applicable to hand made art prints. 

 

When Will I Receive My Order?

We normally ship in 5 business days. 

From time of shipping, the artwork will usually arrive in between 7 - 10 business days, barring any delays due to customs clearance. Depending on your country of origin it may take more or less time.

 

Common Reasons for Delivery Delays

If you live in an area experiencing severe weather, natural disasters, or any other unforeseen major events, your package may be delayed. Please add an additional 2 - 3 business days to the estimated delivery date of your order.

Also, in some countries, the customs clearing process may take as long as 30 days. Please check your government's international shipping policies for more detailed information.

 

How Can I Cancel A Purchase?

You have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day that you received the purchase.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us Anna Curtius Art of your decision to withdraw from this contract by e-mail. You may use this model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. 

IMPORTANT: the right of withdrawal is not applicable to downloadable purchases.

 

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. However if Anna Curtius Art haven't received the artwork we have the right to delay the refunding. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. 

We offer free return shipping.

IMPORTANT: Anna Curtius Art is not responsible for any currency conversion differences that may result in a reversed payment.

Returning the purchase

You must send the unused and undamaged artwork back within 14 days of informing Anna Curtius Art. Repackage the artwork using the original packaging materials. If you’ve already disposed of the original packaging, you’ll be responsible for purchasing packaging materials at your own expense to send the artwork back safely to us. 

If the artwork is handled by you in such a way that the value of the artwork is reduced you can be charged for the reduction in value.

What If The Artwork Is Faulty?

We offer a 3-years guarantee free of charge on all purchases.

If the artwork you bought turn out to be faulty or do not look as advertised, we will replace it free of charge. If the artwork is not possible to replace we will give you a price reduction or a full refund. To get an artwork replaced or refunded the fault must be original, in other words the defect must have been in the artwork already when you received it.

 

How to get artwork replaced or refunded:

The 3-year guarantee period starts as soon as you receive your purchase.

  • Please inform us within 2 months of discovering a fault, otherwise you may lose your right to the guarantee. Inform us by sending an email to hello@annacurtius.com
  • Within 6 months of receiving the artwork, you need to show us that the goods are faulty or not as advertised.
  • After 6 months of receiving the artwork, you need to prove that the defect already existed on receipt of the artwork, for example by showing that it is due to the poor quality of the materials used.

Anna Curtius Art will cover shipping costs when replacing or refunding a purchase.

NOTE: Each print is made by hand and will vary slightly from those pictured, making it unique and one of a kind. Prints may have minor marks from the printing process or small ink stains on the back of the paper.
